Responsibilities
The Network Administrator role will be based in the DC/Metro region and tele-work may be available. Selected candidate must be able to support occasional travel as necessary.
Responsible for network monitoring, optimization and administration of LAN, MAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN (WLAN).
Supoprt Telephone/Telecommunication/Voice Over IP (VOIP)
Perform equipment installations and move in support of VTC operations.
Monitor and maintain Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections along with firewall connections.
Conduct root cause analysis, problem escalation, and incident management
Evaluate and perform performance and capacity management to ensure optimal operations of the network
Support the implementation and transition to IPv6
Qualifications
U.S. Citizen; active security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 10 years or master’s degree with 3 to 8 years’ experience is required.
Must have experience in network administration on Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technology.
Must have experience with the installation, maintenance, and operations of Palo Alto Firewalls
Must have experience providing Tier 3 support to included escalation support to vendors.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
