Your Role
As the Proof Operator you will be responsible for operating the Branch Capture System, performing amount entry, locating and resolving errors in daily transactions, maintaining proof scanner, performing core director day-end processing. The Proof Operator assists in all phases of operational tasks and procedures in the department as needed.
This is a single incumbent position.
- Participates in the proof, encoding and functional balancing of daily transactions received from all sources, sends electronic check and transaction files, and generates daily reports.
- Handles problem recognition, research, resolution and follow-up for routine inconsistencies between branch documents, system information, processes data entry corrections, and standardized procedures.
- Knows, follows and understands the standardized procedures and policies of the data entry area.
- Performs Core Director day-end Processing, and ensures other systems have been updated for the following business day.
- Files all work on a daily basis following the record retention requirements of the department.
- Answers department telephones and email, to assist branches with routine data entry procedure questions.
- Utilizes various computer systems to perform the required job duties.
- Performs a variety of duties to assist Deposit Operations and IT Department as necessary.
- Performs quality review of information being input against instructions to verify the accuracy of the data transmitted.
- Follows security measures set forth by the company and communicates any security concerns to supervisor.
- Remain compliant with bank guidelines, policies, procedures, regulatory and BSA requirements.
- Good communication skills, good computer skills, accuracy, flexibility, ability to handle high stress situations, regular and predictable attendance, exercise discretion and good judgment, follow instructions.
