Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of supervisory construction experience
- Must have experience with civil and remediation construction
- Must have knowledge of applicable codes and regulation
- Must have 10 hr and 30 hr OSHA certifications
- Must have current CPR/First aid certifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft computer applications
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate the work requirements with various staff and subcontractors
- Must have the ability to prioritize, organize and work well under stress and maintain deadlines
- Must have the ability to be flexible and adapt to constant change
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours in order to meet deadlines
- Must have knowledge of acceptable construction site practices including occupational safety and health regulations
- Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with internal and external clients and co-workers
- Must have the ability to follow direction
- Must determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete each task assignment
- Must be comfortable with high intensity work environment
- Must be able to pass a background check as a condition of employment and obtain access to military installations is required
Preferred
- Ten (10) years’ experience in the building trades is preferred
- Experience with Government contracting is preferred
- Contractor Quality Control Certificate is preferred (USACE CQ/CM Course)

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, and sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Construction Superintendents perform some work in office trailer; the remainder of work required is performed outdoors or at the project location.

Some lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds required. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel is required for this role.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises direct reports.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
