CACI is seeking an exceptionally motivated individual to fill an associate project analyst position within one of our Maritime Support Directorate. This individual will assist the organization’s management team in executing four large DoD contracts supplying engineering services and support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) and other US Navy organizations. This position will require the individual to learn the intricacies of DoD contracting, customer engagement, and organizational management. The project analyst will work closely with members of the organization’s management team on business operations including personnel management, process management, procurement, and program execution.
As a member of the management team, the project analyst will support various tasks, unique and recurring in nature, and critical to the success of the organization. This analyst will have sole responsibility for specific team functions, while providing a supporting role in others. Tasks range from simple purchasing to more complex reporting and tracking. This project analyst will be expected to progressively accept greater and more complex responsibilities, and to eventually occupy a critical role on the management team with the capability of improving existing processes and establishing new ones.
Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced team environment and have exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to varying management styles and work environments, including customer facing and virtual. A willingness to dive into and take ownership of tasks that are outside of comfort zones is an imperative. This position demands that the individual be unafraid to ask questions in order to understand roles and responsibilities in an effort to be fully capable of independently executing tasking. An ability to think critically and analytically is important.
More About the Role:
Execute and track various pieces of organizational information including contract deliverables, employee training completion, badge processing, internal purchasing, and other mass organization data calls.
Supporting development of contract monthly reports, including maintenance of reporting templates for each project, assembly of the report, and editorial proof reading and cleanup of the final versions.
Participation in proposal efforts to include the role of Editor that is responsible for validating style, formatting, consistency, and mastery of the final documents.
Establish processes where none exist and suggest improvements to existing processes where needed.
Take ownership of the above tasks, while also continuously looking for other tasks or projects to own or support as new ones emerge.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. (Will consider entry-level candidate with 0 years exp.)
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or business, economics, and finance.
Strong understanding of basic algebra and comfortable working with numbers.
Experience in writing and editing professional and technical documentation.
