JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator 2 of Data Science & Analytics is responsible for managing a team of data scientists working in tandem with various other departments including IT. Oversees the creation of codebooks, programming, analysis, and recommendations for district operations. This role requires an advanced skillset of data and analytics skills, expertise in quantitative K-12 data reporting at the district, state, and federal levels as well as proven leadership experience within teams.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads a team of data analysts, and programmers in the cleaning, processing, transforming of data sets for various stakeholders.
Leads the cross-functional work and completion of ad hoc data requests for district performance, student outcomes, business projects,statistical modeling, research data sets, and program analysis using various outputs including spreadsheets, written analysis, and visualizations including graphics, infographics, and dashboards as appropriate.
Coordinates data and analytics work with coordination work with data analysts, data technicians, IT, academia, and practitioners to ensure alignment and cohesion of the work across the district.
Conducts complex data validations with a strong aptitude for pattern and data validation detection, using a variety of database management and statistical software.
Works with data warehouses, data integration and data modeling to support business decisions, leveraging data to gain key insights into business opportunities.
