Overview of work environment/workspace Mechanical Assembly, repair and testing in a Manfacturing environment. Work to turn customer repairs in 7 days or less.

How will this role interact and support the team? Size of team? Candidate must have good communication and will interact with every team member on a daily basis. The candidate will support customer returns that need repairs. Team size 9 members.

Details of the project this role will support Primarily they will be supporting 2 TSA product lines. One that screens for illegal substances and the other body screening. Some items will consist of repairs while others will be production items, such as installing SW, mechanical assembly and testing.

What have others done to succeed in this position? Be open to training, some training will require travel. Ask a lot of questions, take notes and follow engineering written procedures. Be patient.

What do you foresee as the biggest challenge of this assignment/role? Not asking questions

What is a typical work day? Receiving customer returns, diagnosis, repair and mechanical assembly.

Any growth & development opportunities within role/greater team? Candidate will have the chance to learn all of the product lines in the building, my team supports and repairs all the products we have on-site, either through mechanical assembly, testing and repairing.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate / Range: $20-$26.40

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
