About the role:
We are currently seeking a Mortgage Sales Support Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the VP Mortgage Lending and Mortgage Sales Team. This position requires knowledge of mortgage loan products, processes, and workflow. This position will partner with the Mortgage Sales Team to implement new ideas and processes to increase production by using new technologies, reporting and sales marketing.
A day in the life of the Mortgage Sales Support Specialist will include:
- Assisting VP of Mortgage Lending in the development and execution of sales strategies and campaigns aimed at increasing mortgage sales. Provide insights and feedback to the sales team based on client interactions and market conditions.
- Managing the daily operations of the lock desk, including rate locks, extensions, and change processes. Monitor market conditions and update rate sheets accordingly.
- Maintaining knowledge of the HubSpot Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for the Mortgage Sales Team. Assist MLOs with database management and assist MLOs with CRM strategies to align with business goals.
- Assisting with incoming calls from mortgage customers and transfers from MLOs. Resolve customer issues promptly and accurately, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Assisting VP of Mortgage Lending with regular reporting on production and CRM metrics
- Participating in special projects and assignments under the direction of the VP of Mortgage Lending, the PVP of Mortgage Lending and/or the SVP of Mortgage Lending.
Experience and Education
- Previous experience in mortgage sales support, or a similar role. Knowledge of mortgage products, services, and regulations.
- A high school education or GED. 2+ years of mortgage-related industry experience with a strong knowledge of general loan origination and sales support.
