An outstanding hospital in the Monterey Bay area is in search of a new Women’s Services Director.

This critical access hospital has made a huge positive impact on the population it serves. It is known for its outstanding care and quality services they have been providing for the surrounding cities and towns. In addition, this community hospital provides care across the spectrum from emergency intervention to minor surgical procedures. The Women’s Services Director will join an organization with a rich history and reputation in the community.

The Women’s Services Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. Supported by 2 managers and several tenured charge nurses, this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department seeing over 400 deliveries per year and seasoned staff devoted to quality care.

The Women’s Services Director will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the CNO, as well as managers to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Women’s Services Director will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.

The Monterey Bay area is known for its breathtaking view of Monterey Bay.
