Duties: Build and maintain a book of ultra-high net worth clients. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients who frequently seek strategic advice regarding financial matters ranging from banking to lending and investing. Actively identify prospects and establish contact; convert prospects into clients. Oversee inbound client service and reverse inquiry client issues. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and sources of wealth generation. Analyze products and services to match with prospective clients’ needs. Maintain understanding of client goals and risk tolerance to ensure that financial strategies are appropriate. Assist clients to achieve broad financial and investment goals related to the creation and management of wealth. Develop tailored solutions that address clients' investment, risk management, financing and liquidity needs. Plan and prioritize activities to maximize revenue growth and client satisfaction. Establish a referral network. Align complementary experiences and skill sets of team members to maximize client effectiveness. Follow standard procedures and advocate appropriate exceptions when warranted. Ensure compliance on regulatory requirements and minimize potential liability for the bank. Build relationships and partner with support groups in Private Bank to maintain control, find solutions and resolve issues. Ensure clients are presented with seamless execution of internal processes and bank services. Flag and report improper transactions, complying with regulatory policies and control procedures regarding client acceptability. Present, analyze and communicate complex financial concepts and investment strategies. Keep abreast of financial industry developments and global market conditions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Private Bank Analyst, Banker, Private Banker Senior Lead or related position involving Private Banking. 5 years of experience must include: Wealth and asset management; International investment banking for high net worth individuals; Developing and implementing strategic investment plans for high-net-worth individuals; and Relationship management.
