At Boeing, our Manufacturing engineering teams have the unique opportunity to support the fabrication and assembly for the next generation of Air Force Trainer, bombers and tactical fighter aircraft, autonomous air vehicles, rotorcraft, advanced airborne sensors, space vehicles, satellites, weapons systems, the commercial fleet of single and twin aisle airplanes and much more.

- Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develops, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
- Foresee and prevent potential conflicts and risks associated with successful completion of work tasks / jobs.
- Assists in implementing manufacturing plans.
- Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
- Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in El Segundo, CA.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) post start.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 2+ years of related manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience in Lean Process Improvement Implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- B.S or higher in Aerospace, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 or more years of experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing engineering role
- Experience with CREO, 3D Printed Parts, and Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
- Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- Ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues and provide innovative solutions
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Typical Summary Pay Range:
Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $80,750 - $109,250
