Pathologist License Applicant (SPLA)
EDUCATION: Master's degree in Communication Disorders
CERTIFICATION: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the
American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or has filed an approved plan for the Required
Professional Experience (RPE).
EXPERIENCE: Advanced clinical training experience and continuing education in specialty area.

The Rehabilitation Services Department at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) is seeking a Full Time Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our IP and OP team treating the adult population.

Acute Care Inpatient Speech Therapists provide rehab throughout the hospital, including the Critical Care and Trauma Units. Our SLPs work with a wide array of diagnoses providing speech, dysphagia and cognitive evaluations, make recommendation and deliver the appropriate treatment plans. SLPs also perform Inpatient and Outpatient Video Fluoroscopy Studies (MBSS). Opportunities in our Adult Outpatient Speech and Language program are also available.

PVHMC is a nationally recognized, and award winning, 412 Bed, Non-Profit, acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center. Rehabilitation Services at PVHMC were established in 1954 and currently have 75 licensed therapists and 108 Associates. Rehab includes 5 Services: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. In addition to our Inpatient care, the PVHMC campus is home to our 11,000 sq. ft. outpatient clinic. We also offer rehab services at 5 outpatient clinics in the neighboring cities of Claremont, La Verne and Chino Hills. Two of these outpatient practices are exclusively pediatrics.

Salary range; $42.86 - $60.31 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
