Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The DC Operations Lead is responsible for assigning, monitoring and supervising the daily functions and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide work guidance for teammates
• Perform job and essential duties successfully and satisfactorily
• Properly assess priorities within the area
• Train and oversee personnel within departments
• Continue to seek knowledge and skills beyond present position to prepare for greater responsibility
• Take on responsibility of maintaining a productive and positive environment between teammates, team coordinators, managers, and outside vendors
• Work proficiently without supervision
• Maintain and monitor a clean and safe work environment for the department.
• Achieve assigned performance goals and objectives as set by management
• Maintain an excellent attendance record
• Continue to adapt, evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment
• Have excellent multitasking capability
• Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Required skills

• Previous warehouse experience, including leading or planning the work of other teammates.
• Demonstrated self-starter and a motivated individual, willing to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of branch operations.
• Requires demonstrated organizational, supervisory, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; able to provide direction and instruction to other teammates.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
