CNC Mill Machine Part Changer
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE Location: Moorpark, CA Classification: Full Time Position: Temporary to Hire
The CNC Mill Machine Part Changer is responsible for handling and replacing parts during the CNC milling process. This role involves ensuring the proper installation of parts, monitoring machine operations, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and effective communication with team members are crucial for the efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
Duties, include but are not limited to:
Part Changing
Follow digital work orders to confirm parts match the specifications required for the CNC milling process.
Inspect parts before installation to ensure they meet quality standards.
Replace worn or broken parts on the CNC milling machines, adhering to safety protocols and SOPs.
Report any discrepancies or issues with parts to the quality control team.
Machine Operation Monitoring
Monitor CNC milling machines during operation to ensure proper functioning.
Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain optimal performance and product quality.
Alert maintenance personnel to any machine malfunctions or safety concerns.
Quality Control
Conduct visual and measurement inspections of parts before and after milling to ensure they meet specifications.
Document inspection results and report any deviations to the quality control team.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean CNC machines and surrounding work areas according to SOPs to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines as instructed by preventative maintenance procedures.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of part changes, inspections, and machine maintenance.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or updates.
Other duties:
Assist with troubleshooting CNC machine issues.
Support inventory management by restocking parts and supplies.
Participate in training sessions for new employees.
Aid in developing and updating SOPs related to part changing and machine maintenance.
Skills & Experiences:
Basic knowledge of CNC milling machines and part replacement procedures.
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Familiarity with CNC milling equipment and part replacement procedures is a plus.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs accurately.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Benefits after 90 days of continuous employment include medical, dental and vision, 5 sick days post after 90 days of employment.
After one year of continuous employment 40 vacation hours each year. Max 80 hours accumulated. Companies are front-loaded with sick and vacation days beginning January 1st each year.
Paid company holidays are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.
401K after one year vested period with safe harbor 3% contribution from the company.
