Job Abstract

Selected applicant will be a member of a Logistics Operations Center and provide support for multiple programs operating at remote locations. Applicant will perform database management duties to include using relational databases such as ALMS. The normal activities of this center will include but are not limited to provisioning, database management, item management, order processing/closure, ensuring timely delivery of spares, kits, and field spares returned for repair or modification. Applicant will work with all sustainment functions, program engineers, field engineers, procurement personnel, and subcontractors with the objective of developing innovative solutions to ensure systems are operational and effective. Applicant will be part of a logistics team that supports customer deployments and supply requirements for multiple locations.
Must be a US Citizen. The applicant selected will be subjected to Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. This position will require an active Top Secret security clearance with an SBI completed within the past 5 years. The candidate must agree to and successfully pass a polygraph examination if requested. Must be a US Citizen. Position is located at a facility that requires special access. • Experience with and proficient in relational databases, used for material management, such as ALMS

• Knowledge and understanding of procedures pertaining to aircraft maintenance, logistics, and modification processes
• Database management
• Experience with Microsoft Access or similar tools, and miscellaneous mainframe applications such as SQL • Logistics experience supporting field operations
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Management of hazardous chemicals, calibration, and/or time change items
• Active Top Secret Clearance
