About the role:
Join Boston Scientific's Digital Ecosystems team as a Digital Product Owner and assume a crucial role in advancing Neuromodulation's vision and roadmap. You'll work to bolster NMD's commercial processes and digital technologies, improving sales, service, and marketing efforts.
You will Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative digital products that drive scalability, optimization, and continuous process improvements. Your contributions will directly impact business goals and play a vital role in improving patient outcomes, making this role an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of digital innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, defining and communicating a compelling vision for digital products aligned with organizational goals.
- Prioritize and maintain a dynamic product backlog, ensuring it reflects the latest priorities and business needs while actively participating in agile ceremonies to align development efforts with strategic business priorities.
- The primary point of contact for stakeholders is providing project status updates, actively soliciting feedback, and closely collaborating to define impactful features and solutions.
- Conduct thorough user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure developed features meet business standards. Address development issues and roadblocks by collaborating with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions.
- Coordinate with development teams and stakeholders to strategically plan and execute successful product releases.
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase new features, gather feedback, and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with training teams to develop comprehensive materials, ensuring the successful adoption of Salesforce solutions.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce and other digital platforms, including configuration, customization, and administration.
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Advanced analytical and diagnostic skills for resolving complex issues encountered in digital solutions, particularly those that are novel, undefined, or contradictory.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions by applying established processes or creating new approaches, effectively leveraging technology from abstract information.
- Proficient in understanding and applying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and Agile methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Salesforce Business Analyst certification
- Prior experience in a product owner or product management role within a medical device company, ideally in a software development environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders, development teams, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to drive product vision, motivate teams, and make decisions that align with business goals.
Pay Transparency
The anticipated annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from [$84,000 - $159,600], plus variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at Boston Scientific (BSC), which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. BSC considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.
