Position Summary: The File Maintenance Clerk assists the operations function of the Bank to help achieve an efficient and effective operations process. Reviews deposit maintenance documents against system generated file maintenance reports to verify changes to customer and account fields on the core were properly documented and accurate. May assist with scans, and review quality control.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Reviews deposit maintenance documents against system generated file maintenance reports to verify changes to customer and account fields on the core were properly documented and accurate.
Logs and tracks any errors identified in the deposit maintenance documents, working with front-line personnel to resolve discrepancies.
Ensures department compliance through numerous tasks and functions including, but not limited to, deposit account proofing and monitoring, reviewing, and verifying opening account documents in comparison to what is on the Core system.
May scan, review quality control, and track core account record updates.
Maintains awareness, understanding, and compliance with the Bank's internal policies and procedures, laws, and regulations appropriate for this position.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Relevant banking experience preferred.
Experience maintaining a high degree of customer service and professionalism.
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing work assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
Experience working independently as well as within a team environment.
High School diploma.
Skills and Abilities:
Experience with Fiserv Premier a plus
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
Strong organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
