Responsibilities:

- Result-oriented and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of creating and implementing process improvement initiatives
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with utility (energy, water, waste) companies
- Must become efficient in communicating, documenting and ultimately overcoming challenges in acquiring and maintaining data from utility companies
- Initially will be required to transition Sprint Wireline Utilities from T-Mobile to Cogent. This will require establishing Cogent as the responsible party for maintenance of approximately one thousand accounts and over four hundred utility vendors
- Ongoing, the Administrator will be responsible for all crucial utility functions
- Administrator will be responsible for management of all services provided by utility companies
- Establishing and updating payee accounts for all utility vendors
- Receiving, entering relevant data and processing invoices for payment
- Responsible for organization of all invoices received
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining websites/portals
- Must complete each task as flawlessly as possible, documenting account numbers, invoice numbers, meter numbers, read dates, consumption and invoice amounts
- Administrator will learn to negotiate power agreements for services in deregulated states
- Must use due diligence in monitoring critical dates to avoid and quickly address possible adverse impacts
- Administrator will build strong relationships with Finance, IT and Field Engineering
- Prepare and submit weekly pay schedules
- Respect deadlines and procedures

- Play a pivotal role in the development and management of a database for invoice management and payment schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong communication Skills both verbally and in writing
- Quick to learn and able to adapt evolving business model and culture
- Excel proficiency is essential. Must be able to manage spreadsheets and organize and analyze data
- Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software for financial management is preferred
- Familiarity with Kwiktag system appreciated but not essential
