Job Description
This position is a lead solution architect and product owner over the company’s supply chain & enterprise asset management technology solutions. This will be a key role in support of current process and digital transformation efforts aligned to the company’s upcoming implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions. The role requires high technical and functional competency in the business areas of demand management, supply management and inventory, fulfillment, warehousing, master data management, and asset work & lifecycle management. Hands-on implementation experience with relative Oracle Cloud modules and features required along with in-depth understanding of standard system development lifecycle controls. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, process design and technical teams to perform rationalization and redesign of current business processes and application requirements in favor of standard Oracle Cloud technology. It is key for this role to become a trusted advisor to internal supply chain and asset management stakeholders ensuring optimal organizational buy-in, user adoption and efficiency gains from technology solutions selected and implemented.
Key Accountabilities
Role accountabilities include:
Product ownership and strategy over existing and future supply chain and enterprise asset management technology solutions, including rationalization of requirements within current and future applications. Deliver rationalized enhancements in existing platforms as deemed necessary.
Lead team through full Oracle Cloud implementation cycle from technology-led design to deployment, recommending standardized solutions and ensuring appropriate stakeholder buy-in and signoff. Ensure high quality and value-added documentation of functional and technical solution design.
Lead the hands-on configuration in Oracle Cloud Supply Chain, CX, and other modules as necessary working with client stakeholders to ensure configurations are in alignment with business requirements, and ensuring the system is set up for long-term success.
Lead the hands-on development of custom solutions across reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions. Rationalize custom requirements and third-party applications, defending proposed outcomes as necessary.
Work closely with and provide direction to onshore/offshore consultants and extended internal project team members during implementation and post go-live.
Provide regular status updates to the organization, risk identification & mitigation, and assist in developing and delivering change management & user training programs.
Plan and implement operational support structure to provide day-to-day user support, recurring update & enhancement management, master data management, reporting & analytics support, integration management, system health KPI tracking, etc.
Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications/Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, information systems, or related field required (master’s degree preferred or equivalent years of experience).
5-10 Years experience in at least 1-5 large scale ERP-led enterprise transformational implementations (Oracle ERP implementation must be at least 1 of these) ensuring successful delivery on time and on-budget.
Demonstrated experience transitioning complex ERP platforms across technologies with complex data conversion requirements.
At least 8-10 years management and project management experience, managing large size teams with mixture of direct report and consultants. Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, processes, and tools required.
At least 10 years of cross-departmental working business experience, with demonstrated ability to successfully engage, empathize and connect with a wide variety of business owners and stakeholders to effectively drive business/technology alignment and progress of initiatives.
At least 10 years of experience working in a medium to large corporate environment, preferably with a public company.
8+ years in software systems or architecture development and delivery with demonstrable experience in innovation and emerging technologies.
In depth experience with and understanding of supply chain and enterprise asset management processes, ideally with strong understanding of implementation of industry standards to simplify and standardize processes.
5-10 years of experience managing medium to large size teams of direct reports and combination of onshore/offshore consulting resources.
Ability to build and lead highly effective, motivated, and productive teams.
Demonstrated problem solving and communication abilities, including:
Translating requirements and facilitating communications between business partners, technical and non-technical team members, both verbally and visually.
Good judgement, ability to quickly get to the underlying root cause of problems or issues.
Communicating project status and complex subject matter to directors, vice presidents, C-level executives, and board members as needed to provide insight into the current state of the business or project, and as required, inspire the envisioned end state.
Experience in leading change initiatives through process- and metrics-based leadership.
Managing and engaging on multiple, complex projects with competing needs and resource requirements.
Ability to rationalize and recommend optimal combination(s) of technology applications and architecture based on enterprise business needs, efficiency and long-range cost effectiveness.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in business-friendly language. Multi-cultural and multi-regional experience is highly preferred.
Renewable energy industry experience is desirable.
Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 10-20% of time.
The expected starting pay range for this role is $137,000 to $186,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care benefits, employee assistance program, paid time off and bonding leave, paid holidays, 401(k)/RRSP retirement savings plan with employer contribution, and employee referral bonuses.
