Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a senior level Information Technology (IT) Operations professional to lead and manage all IT infrastructure needs within the Annapolis Junction, MD location. The responsibilities for this position include:
Ensure all tasks and projects are appropriately assigned and prioritized based on the nature of the action, needs of the program, or guidance from Peraton Management.
Assists in planning of projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of the team.
Provides leadership, assistance and work guidance to less experience technicians and administrators.
Work with Campus Support Technicians to support the end users as needed.
Maintains warranty information; ensure that the infrastructure systems are monitored with regards to warranty status.
Ensures the timely resolution of hardware and software problems associated with the data and voice network.
Identifies and evaluates new products / services that would allow the team to provide improved services to our customers.
Provide 2nd and 3rd Tier hardware and software support for end-users.
Provide after-hours support for planned maintenance, updates to technology, hardware and software changes during non-business production hours.
Perform On-Call Emergency support service.
Qualifications
Required:
Active TS/SCI clearance w/ poly
Minimum of 15 years experience in the management of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within an organization, including the physical network (e.g., LANs/WANs, servers, terminals) as well as server applications and software
8 or more years experience managing a team of technical professionals in a IT service desk oriented environment.
A technical or IT bachelor's degree is required
Desired:
Minimum of 3 years experience in network administration to include the design, engineering, technical documentation, implementation, troubleshooting, and repair of network systems (routing, switching, firewall and voice instruments).

Target Salary Range
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
