Etude Wines is dedicated to mastering the craft of winegrowing. Etude specializes in Estate grown Carneros Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Pinot Noir from other appellations which include Santa Rita, Santa Maria, Sonoma Coast and Yamhill-Carlton(OR). Etude also sources Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley.
About the role
The priority of the concierge is to provide a warm and gracious welcome to each visitor of Etude Wines, as well as to ensure that each guest understand the wine experiences, and any other information that will enhance their visit. The Concierge will serve as a reservationist for the tasting room whether that be taking reservations over the phone or in person. The concierge will enter appropriate guest information into the reservation system. Must be available weekends.
Major responsibilities:
- Courteously greets visitors, providing an exceptional first impression.
- Provide information regarding the tastings offered, tasting fees and answer questions regarding the winery, family history, and surrounding area.
- Assist guests in making reservations over the phone and direct calls within the tasting room.
- Actively remain aware of tasting room guest count, ensuring large unscheduled groups are handled on a basis of availability and guest wellbeing.
- Support retail sales team by managing guest entry into the tasting room.
- Maintain and organize retail merchandise and support retail team in maintaining clean bars, including glassware…as needed.
- Maintain an open line of communication with the sales team as well as the Tasting Room Manager.
About you
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Attention to detail and a strong ability to communicate over the phone and in person.
- Strong organization skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow. - Intermediate computer and phone skills, previous experience with cellar pass is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills. - Demonstrate professional demeanor in all circumstances.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine)

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $21-$26 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Napa CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
