Job Abstract

The primary function of the Cherry Picker \ Fork Lift Operator is to distribute and move needed goods, materials, pallets and trash to their proper locations. Off loading, verifying and receiving all palletized goods from trailers to be relocated into the warehouse. Reporting all discrepancies or issues to management to be reviewed.

Job Responsibilities

• Upon verification of vendor goods systematically and physically receiving and relocating all merchandise to their correct locations.
• Prioritizing all material on a daily basis to ensure a consistent work flow for all departments.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the fork lift within the warehouse.
• Stacking and storing product in their appropriate locations.
• Maintain open communication with all departments.
• Ensuring all product is up to company’s standards ensuring a quality product for our customers.
• Adhering to all policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Multi-Tasking under fast paced conditions
• Good verbal and listening skills
• Willingness to learn more
• Forklift and tugger trained and certified
• Ability to adapt wherever needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Mathematical aptitude
