We are Hiring! Peraton is looking for a .NET Developer. The qualified candidate will join our highly performing team supporting the DOS eOPF Program. This is a Hybrid position, must be able to work onsite at least one day a month. The qualified candidate must be local to the DMV area.
What you will do:
Provides expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based, technical, and business software systems.
Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria.
Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
Interfaces with government engineers/architects regarding architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on needs and anticipated technology advances.
Defines templates and sets best standards and practices that development teams can utilize.
Coordinates with platform vendors for issues and support requests.
Works with operations personnel and application users to troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
Experience working with one or more of the following:
C#, Visual Basic
.NET Framework
MVC
Angular,
JavaScript
JSON
Oracle, PL/SQL
Web Services
HTML/HTML5.
Experience working in agile, software development, and production environments.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a full stack developer.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Hold an active government clearance.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
