Operations and Maintenance Business Analyst
Key Role:
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, customers or end users. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project scope and vision. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees. Focus on solutions identification, risk analysis, and collaboration with IT teams. Work on providing highly innovative solution identification of complex problems.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a business analyst
Experience translating customer vision into user stories
Experience working in a highly collaborative environment, working proactively across teams and with program stakeholders
Experience with presenting solutions to senior leaders
Experience with Agile methodology
Experience with user experience concepts
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in operations and management or Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience in operations and management
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with analyzing and verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Experience with FDA operational systems
Ability to manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Ability to communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
