Job Type: Temp to Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30am-3pm

Description of Position:

Are you experienced in shipping and receiving and looking for a new opportunity in a warehouse setting? Join our team as a Shipping Clerk! Your day will start by reviewing the shipments you're responsible for, packaging orders, weighing packages, assigning labels, and organizing them for delivery. You'll work closely with your coworkers to load and unload delivery trucks, verify incoming shipments, and use forklifts and other machinery to move pallets to their proper storage locations. Before the end of your shift, you'll help prepare orders for the next team and update the shift Supervisor on the tasks you've completed.

Experience Required:

Prior shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse setting
Proficiency in using forklifts and other warehouse machinery
Ability to package orders, weigh packages, assign labels, and organize packages
Experience in loading and unloading delivery trucks
Strong attention to detail for verifying incoming shipments and cross-checking invoices
Ability to transfer pallets to shelving or storage locations
Effective communication skills to coordinate with shift Supervisors and coworkers
Excellent organizational skills for preparing orders for upcoming shifts
Reliability and punctuality
