Job Title: H2F Regional Manager
Summary
Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager to support the Army Holistic Health and Fitness Support (H2F) contract. The H2F Regional Manager works as a full-time employee of Zeiders Enterprises and provides management support and oversight to the contracted operations of the H2F Contract. This position manages subordinate supervisors who supervise site based H2F employees. The position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these activities. Supervisory responsibilities are executed in accordance with Zeiders’ corporate policies and management philosophy. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position ensures contract-related activities, including local Government interface, personnel management, and budget management are conducted in accordance with the contract, H2F policies and applicable laws. The Regional Manager is expected to ensure all contract deliverables are met or exceeded and contract operations meet government expectations. Position will have frequent interface with government customers cultivating working relationships that enhance contract operations. Incumbent will be able to identify and implement intervention strategies when needed to address contract performance and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Contract operations: Understands H2F Contract PWS requirements and Zeiders’ compliance policies and practices. Understands the relationship between the government customer and Zeiders’ staff.
- Reports: Complete government and Zeiders’ directed reports. Develop, assemble, and maintain data, stats, narrative inputs, reports and tables as required. Conceptualize and recommend changes/enhancements as needed.
- Government Customer Interface: Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with designated government points of contact assigned to area of responsibility. Responds to concerns/questions regarding contract performance. Coaches other Zeiders’ local leaders and staff to successful government relationships.
- Business Management: Works cooperatively with Zeiders’ corporate support team to include Finance and Accounting, Human Resources and ISD in developing and implementing solutions in support of staff needs and challenges.
- Quality Control: Provide/support quality control of all programs and services to include role in Quality Control Plan. Ensure all contracted operations in area of responsibility meet government expectations.
- Project Management: Responsible for emergent projects required for the successful contract or division operations as assigned.
- Develop strategies for specialized H2F recruiting in the assigned area of responsibility, credentialing, retention, and employee well-being initiatives and maintain, update, and monitor their effectiveness.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct Supervisor for supervisors that provide direct supervision and support to contract staff within the area of responsibility. Provide oversight, performance monitoring, leadership development support, and consultation. Overall responsibility for CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and oversight of employee training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Required Education and Experience Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited academic institution OR a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years relevant experience.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience managing, staffing, overseeing, and completing Government projects of geographically dispersed locations.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills and ability.
- Experience managing large programs with geographically dispersed employees.
- Experience in program implementation, research, or application of health and fitness science.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring of individuals in goal setting, team building.
- Experience in program development/implementation within one or more of the five holistic health domains: Physical Readiness, Nutritional Readiness, Spiritual Readiness, Mental Readiness, and Sleep Readiness.
- Ability to pass the customer and government security process successfully.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role on a federal government contract
- Experience working with or for the Army
- Prior experience working on the H2F or similar contract
Other Requirements
- This position requires the ability to pass a NACI (Tier 1), obtain access to U.S. Government facilities and systems. U.S. Citizenship, a valid driver's license, transportation, and auto insurance are required.
