As a Senior Content Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the way people engage with our products and services. We’re looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our Walmart International UX team to support customer and associate digital experiences. You will help guide the creation of products and features from start to finish for global platforms and experiences that serve multiple markets. You have strong skills in problem solving, facilitating working sessions, presenting to and influencing stakeholders, collaborating with other UX functions, Product and Engineering teams. Help us identify, define and implement solutions that go beyond words and integrate seamlessly into people’s lives.
Partner with Product Designers throughout the design process at different engagement levels that span from consulting to owning initiatives
Explain to stakeholders when a solution needs to go beyond UI text changes to address the problem and make recommendations backed with user data
Keep a global perspective in your discoveries, apply user-centered design principles to?your analyses and use these insights to influence stakeholders about your choices
Simplify complex ideas into clear, concise, actionable and easy to read UI text in US English for our commerce platform, prioritizing localizability for our markets such as Mexico, Canada and Chile
Participate in peer reviews to ensure consistency and alignment to our brand voice and design system guidelines
Manage effectively the iterative nature of the design process with stakeholders to ensure delivering solutions that align with the business and deliver on the user need
Articulate clearly the content needs about projects to other partners to ensure there’s clarity around expectations
Use Jira on a day-to-day basis to create brief-like project descriptions during kickoffs, estimate work, communicate dependencies, inform program teams and keep deliverables on track
Collaborate effectively UX Research, Accessibility, Localization, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Legal teams through the product development cycle to ensure the content is user-centered, accessible, culturally sensitive, aligned with the product vision, technically feasible and legally compliant
Document and flag issues to the UX Lead when decisions compromise the integrity of the experience to ensure that MVP approaches meet the user needs and the team standards
Participate in design sprints and provide content design expertise to the solution
Deliver files ready in Figma free of errors like typos and with accessibility annotations
Evolve and improve Content Design team resources, including best-practices and style guides to ensure consistency, quality and accuracy of content across the platform
Partner with the Localization team and in-market advisors to ensure the highest quality of product adaptation for the market
Proven experience of 3+ years in Content Design or UX Writing for global platforms
Familiarity with user-centered design principles, user research and usability testing
Proficient in writing and editing US English
Strong communication, time management and collaboration skills
Experience in adapting source content for localization teams to expand the product into multiple languages
Familiarity applying WCAG standards and collaborating with accessibility teams
Strong command of Figma for team collaboration, idea experimentation and final content delivery to engineers
Experience with Jira, Confluence and Mural
Must have a portfolio with at least three UX case studies showcasing your craft, impact and collaborative process

Minimum Qualifications...
