We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Content Design, to join our Walmart International UX team. You are an experienced leader who will work closely with design leadership and cross-functional partners to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for global sourcing experiences that serve multiple markets. As a key leader in our design organization, you will inspire and influence product design, product management, and other disciplines to lead with user-centric content. You will be responsible for building the content design capability and driving innovation in our content design processes —enabling teams to build great products.
Build the content design team for Global sourcing products across multiple markets
Define the content design approach for platforms that serve multiple markets
Partner closely with product design, research, brand, engineering, and product on content design initiatives
Educate stakeholders on the importance of content design to drive customer and business outcomes
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders through the product development cycle to ensure the content is user-centered, accessible, culturally sensitive, aligned with the product vision, technically feasible and legally compliant
Lead design sprints and provide content design expertise to the solution
Develop a content design style guide for global sourcing experiences and lead peer reviews to ensure consistency and alignment to our brand voice and guidelines
Enable scale and consistency by managing the creation of templates, guides, and other tools
Partner with the Localization team and in-market advisors to ensure the highest quality of product adaptation for the market
Empower and mentor content design team to develop their skills and impact
8+ years of people management/leadership experience, both leading others while working closely with other senior partners
5+ years within the content design space
Cross-cultural fluency and experience designing products for global markets
Experience creating content design standards and systems for enterprise products
An outstanding portfolio that demonstrates expertise and leadership in customer-focused product and content design solutions
Experience in accessibility design and implementing accessibility requirements
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
