What We Do
The Public Works Department provides a variety of services related to the development, construction, inspection, improvement, and maintenance of the City's infrastructure. This infrastructure includes traffic lights, sidewalks, streetlights, and roadways. In addition, Public Works runs the following enterprise operations: Water, Solid Waste, Wastewater, Stormwater, and Parking Operations.
The Parking Operations Division manages and operates the 19 City-owned parking facilities. Parking Facility Administration is responsible for the general management of parking operations including monthly parking, attendant-assisted parking, daily parking vouchers, various private and public special events, and daily parking for the general public.
What We're Looking For
The City of Beverly Hills is seeking qualified candidates for two Parking Supervisor positions. The incumbents will supervise senior parking attendants and part-time attendants, and oversee and participate in the day-to-day operations of City-owned parking facilities. Previous experience working in parking or with parking software is highly desirable, but not required.

Selection Process

Conviction History
As a finalist for a job, you will be fingerprinted, and your fingerprints will be sent to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The resulting report of your conviction history (if any) will be used to determine whether the nature of your conviction (or arrest, in limited circumstances) conflicts with the specific duties and responsibilities of the job for which you are a finalist. Having a conviction history does not automatically preclude you from a job with the City. If you are selected as a finalist, you will be contacted to schedule a fingerprinting appointment.
