We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Senior Administrative Coordinator Cell Therapy Technical Operation (CTTO). This is a crucial hire for the CTTO team, you will work closely with the VP and Chief Technology Officer, CTTO and BPO Lead for CTTO. These leaders are responsible for more than 70 team members which support the advancement of AstraZeneca’s Cell Therapy projects across Oncology R&D, BioPharma R&D and Alexion portfolios.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, CTTO. This includes managing complex calendar arrangements with high level partners, handling confidential information, and maintaining security of managers' records and files.
You will provide administrative support to resolve calendar issues independently and proactively to ensure efficiency and time management is maximized.
You will support end-to-end multi-location domestic and international travel and associated expenses, using Concur and BCD Travel.
Additionally, you will provide operational support to CTTO BPO with travel tracking, managing CTTO SharePoint Online pages and MS Teams channels and arranging logistics for CTTO departmental events such as town halls.
You will provide logistics and administrative support to all direct leaders of CTTO especially for travel and meeting logistics.
Essential Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
5+ years’ experience in an administrative role supporting complex projects.
Natural problem solver/ thinker who seeks ways to make efficiencies and promote standard process.
Prior experience supporting multiple functional leaders.
Strong track record of excellence in organization and planning.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage a range of projects/competing priorities independently.
Willingness to learn new ways of working and interest in personal development – this role provides many opportunities to step-in and try new things.
Go-getter with a can-do attitude.
Adaptable, proactive, and self-motivated.
Able to collaborate with and leverage the network of experts to effectively and efficiently complete tasks.
Natural team player with a commitment to help the CTTO team succeed.
Excellent knowledge of MS office, Outlook, Calendar, PowerPoint and web-based systems, including other custom industry applications, e.g., Workday, SharePoint and BOX.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience within AZ (preferably Oncology or R&D).
Prior experience in CMC (e.g. in the BPD organization).
Experience in a global organizational environment.
