Social Media Specialist Job Summary:
Sparks Group and a globally renowned company have partnered to find a Social MediaSpecialist for a long-term contract in McLean, VA. You can work fully remote from anywhere in the United States, but will be expected to work CT or ET hours. You will be joining the Social Strategy team, which manages content strategy and channel health across key platforms (FB, IG, TW) and provides campaign support as needed for numerous brands. You will support the Social Strategy team with various projects and the day-to-day management of social channels. You will partner with various teams within the Social team as well as cross-functional teams. You will report to the Manager, Social Media Strategy and will work very closely with the Global Brand Marketing teams and the internal Creative Studio to help execute social media marketing strategies and build social-first content around key brand initiatives.
Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:

Work cross-functionally to secure creative and messaging approvals from stakeholders before finalizing assets.

Provide social listening insights to help inform content strategy.
Partner with our Social Engagement team to ideate and execute low-lift engagement content tailored for each platform.
Monitor social boosting budgets and performance.
Project management and meeting scheduling with Global Brand Marketing and our Creative studio as needed.
Social Media Specialist Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, or similar.
2-5 years of experience in related positions such as brand marketing, digital marketing, social media and content marketing.
3-5 years of overall work experience.
Experience writing effective creative briefs and constructively providing feedback to internal and external agency partners to guide creative strategy and development.
Experience with project management within a matrixed organization.
Experience with Sprinklr or similar social media management software (SMMS).
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express complex ideas, results and areas of opportunities (both verbally and written).
Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills to develop and test new ideas.
Motivated self-starter with high integrity, enthusiasm, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Efficient collaboration and presentation skills, with a demonstrated record of partnering and influencing cross-functional teams across the enterprise to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals.
Strong understanding of effective brand positioning and creative strategy.
Strong project management skills and strong attention to detail, with demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously from conception through to completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
