Position Summary:
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for initiation, planning, coordination, execution, control, and completion of projects within the information security and compliance team, working closely with the other departmental Project Managers, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
The Program Manager will run all team stand-ups and project meetings and manage the work backlog to ensure that deadlines are met, and tasks are completed in line with business priorities.
The Program Manager will ensure projects meet deadlines; accurately document and report project status; oversee all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget; have overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. In addition, the Program Manager will assist the VP of GRC with process improvements and contribute to the maturation of the team’s project management and delivery approach.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for making the delivery of project goals your own, using your PM skills and expertise to influence project stakeholders to complete project tasks on time and on budget.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the project scope, asking questions wherever necessary and finding solutions to problems proactively.
- Take the initiative wherever there are gaps and/or differences in the scope and/or planned activities, and seek to bring clarity and consensus independently.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, with strong attention to detail, and extremely high-quality work outputs.
- Learn and adhere to detailed organizational documentation standards
- Maintain a strong commitment process-based governance, including change control, versioning, and configuration management

- Understand the business outcomes intended by the project and ensure project activities incorporate and help to achieve them.
- Take responsibility for third-party suppliers delivering into the project, manage their progress, and ensure they remain on track
- Prepare, maintain and submit clear & concise project status, activity/progress and other management reports.
- Seek to discover potential problems before they occur, by building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders across the project
- Communicate with both technical colleagues and non-technical executive-level stakeholders, and translate between them into layman’s terms where necessary
- Produce project status reports at any time by having real-time project performance information on scope, time, and cost at your fingertips.
- Manage and communicate changes to project scope and ensure approval is provided where required.
- Identify risks and issues and proactively mitigate/resolve them; and be able to escalate risks and issues to project governance in a timely way, appropriately summarizing the context based on the audience.
- Engage with and conduct meetings with senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and vary the language used as required
Required Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of Project Management experience
- Experience delivering enterprise-wide projects
- Experience in ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 a plus
- Experience in various Project Management methodologies; Waterfall, Agile
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools; Scrum, Kanban
- Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISO, SharePoint, Teams
- Strong analytical skills, with high aptitude in Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of enterprise applications, business processes and business requirement analysis
- Demonstrably intellectually curious, with an enthusiasm to ask questions and gain deeper understanding wherever possible
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
- Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and change management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with people of varying roles and seniority
- Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of overall IT, information security and compliance
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer certification a plus
Pay Scale: $76.00/ph - $85.00/ph
