My client has been within the meat manufacturing industry for over 50 years.

• 
  
  Production Management:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and company quality standards.
  • Monitor and adjust production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• 
  
  Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with USDA and internal standards.
  • Implement corrective actions to address any deviations or non-compliances.
• 
  
  Team Leadership:
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels to meet production demands.
• 
  
  Safety and Compliance:
  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety training and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Ensure all staff are knowledgeable about and comply with USDA regulations and company policies.

  Resource Management:
  • Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Optimize resource utilization to control costs and maximize efficiency.
• 
  
  Communication and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on production metrics, performance, and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and goal achievement.
