The Sr IT Quality Assurance Analyst conducts quality assurance reviews for customer and lines of business transactions with accuracy speed, efficiency, and professionalism meeting the high-quality service delivery standards of the enterprise. Responsible for high quality support and services to all lines of business and customers. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial operations, compliance and regulations is critical for this position. Ensures security and safety measures are followed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Acts in a lead capacity to lower level staff by providing support and guidance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure application development changes are thoroughly tested and documented prior to production release.
Develop test cases against application development requirements.
Develop test plans consistent with release management methodology to ensure application changes are fully tested.
Effectively communicate with the Product Management and Application Development teams regarding issues and recommended changes to meet business requirements.
Gather and manage test data to ensure business requirements have been effectively tested and ready for production.
Define black box and smoke testing procedures aligned to release management procedures.
Create automated test cases using enterprise automation software.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Application Team throughout the SDLC process.
Maintain current knowledge of all federal and state laws and regulations, along with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Ensures internal controls, policies, and mechanisms comply with standard industry practices, regulatory guidelines, and senior management’s recommendations and/or directions.
Review application functionality for security vulnerabilities, as needed.
Work independently, take initiative and drive initiatives forward as needed with limited or no direction.
Convert business requirements to testing strategy as needed, to provide feedback and direction to the Application Development Team during QA activities.
Collaborate, as needed, across the organization regarding QA processing and efficiency.
Ensure testing and QA processes adhere to OWASP top 10 vulnerability list.
Supports and develops QA reporting, as required.
Works with QA leadership to develop career growth through the “Let’s Talk” framework.
Follows established bank policies and procedures, meets and adheres to audit standards.
Supports the company’s goals and values accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years’ experience required in QA automation and testing procedures.
3+ years’ experience required in API level testing.
Financial services experience preferred.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $38.32/hr. to $57.49/hr. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A discretionary bonus and/or business line incentive may be provided, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
