Catering Operations Inventory Manager

Zerocater is looking for a dedicated customer-focused individual to support the Catering Operations Team. As the Catering Operations Inventory Manager, you will oversee all onsite equipment requirements and will manage inventory levels at all facilities and all aspects of the equipment management process. The Catering Operations Inventory Manager will implement and lead our inventory control processes to ensure we are stocked and prepared to deliver the best service possible. Time management,strong communication skills, keen attention to detail and an entrepreneurial mindset are paramount to success in this role.
What you will do:
Manage onsite inventory by maintaining par levels, reducing excess stock, and perform weekly inventory counts
Prepare pack-out lists for upcoming events with accuracy and detail, based on specific client needs
Manage and stock inventory in a clean and organized manner at HQ, warehouse, and offsite
Place equipment orders in a timely manner by monitoring delivery and inventory schedules, manage suppliers, and manage inventory budget to meet financial requirements
Support the Operations Team when needed to assist with event setup, breakdown, and client-facing engagement
Qualifications for success:
2+ years in hospitality and/or a customer facing role
Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience
Minimum 1 year inventory management experience
Analytical and computer savvy with experience with CRM software and/or Supply chain management software
Must have a valid driver’s license (Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVD)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Experience and proficiency with driving a 16 ft delivery truck
