The AE Design Manager will become the leader of our client’s engineering design team in Severna Park, MD. The AE Design Manager will manage multiple simultaneous AE design projects and is responsible for profitability of the design engineering group.
Responsibilities of the AE Design Manager include:
Leading design teams, delivering commercially based design solutions and managing the various deliverables
Scoping and packaging the work, plus managing and controlling the design process from preliminary solutions through the construction phase
Working with managers, project engineers and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules and clear project delivery plans
Working closely with federal clients, leading and managing the development of the design scope through the lifecycle from inception to construction completion
Driving innovating solutions during bid and delivery phase
Undertaking regular coordination/design reviews with the design and federal teams to actively manage change and ensuring timely submission of early warnings and change orders
