PSECU, a high-tech progressive financial institution with more than $8 billion in assets, is seeking a Branch Service Advisor that is expected to deliver exceptional service in a face-to-face environment. This includes but is not limited to the accuracy in handling of cash and check deposits, share and loan transactions, reviewing receipt and providing an appropriate closing to every transaction, account inquiries, review of account history, account maintenance, and more complex issues such as IRA servicing. A Branch Service Advisor must utilize a more evaluative and investigative decision-making process in assisting members with their accounts. The person in this position must be able to multitask, problem solve, and work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
As the primary day-to-day contact for PSECU members, a Branch Service Advisor plays a critical role in providing seamless, high-quality service and support. The person in this position promotes and ensures the service provided supports the (PSECU) membership. This includes but is not limited to assisting in the application process for PSECU with a smile, eye contact and friendly engagement, answering member questions correctly, and referring members to other departments when needed.

Schedule: Monday–Friday - 7:55am–4:15pm. 100% onsite.
Minimum Starting Payrate: $20/hr. (Commensurate with experience)

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Essential for this position:
- Accurately performs all teller functions associated with the position to include, but not limited to, handling of cash and check deposits, loan transactions, transfers, cashier’s check disbursements, bond redemption, issue temporary checks and temporary ATM cards, card and account maintenance, member letters and forms, statement/check copies, completion of Transactor Conductor Box for transactions $3,000.00 and greater, detecting and reporting any unusual account activity, member verification process, check reorders, IRA transactions, educating our members on PSECU products and services, assist in the application process for PSECU membership in accordance with PSECU policy and handle more complex issues, etc. At the end of a transaction, review the receipt(s) and providing an appropriate closing.
- Understands and follows all PSECU’s policies and procedures; particularly as they relate to branch operations emergency evacuations, robbery, and security. Successfully complete security training.
- Balances assigned teller drawer to system totals per balancing procedures. Assists other Branch Service Advisors when out of balance situations occur.
- Completes routine cleaning, servicing, and balancing of self-service coin machine. Assists members with coin deposits as needed.
- Processes Signature Guarantees and Signature Validations according to procedures.
- Verifies funds availability on large checks for deposit as applicable. Places account notes and share holds on funds.
- Maintains and distributes items for member pick-up. Address any outstanding items not picked up by the member in a timely manner.
