Responsibilities
Position Summary
As a Materials Technician, you will be assisting the Materials Manager with stocking needed daily supplies, and processing daily deliveries. In addition you will provide support to the Therapy Department.
Material Dept Duties:
Collecting daily charge data
Entering and logging charges for each department
Ordering supplies
Ordering and returning rental equipment
Submitting invoices
Reviewing and restocking daily supplies at nursing stations
Receiving facility supplies purchase orders
Rotating inventory continually
Maintaining adequate inventory levels
Reviewing and reconciling all invoices to packing slips and purchase orders
Coding invoice line items with general ledger accounts
Verifying all approval signatures per policies prior to processing invoices
Therapy Dept Duties:
Reviewing and restocking daily supplies in gyms.
Assisting with inventory of walkers, canes, wheelchairs/shower, etc.
Ordering therapy supplies as needed.
Receiving therapy supplies, making notations of the received amounts on the purchase orders.
Repairing wheelchair/shower chairs when appropriate.
Maintain wheelchair/shower chair organization system, so that specific wheelchair/shower chairs can be located quickly when needed.
Assisting with AFO inventory.
Assisingt with cushion cleaning/laundry deliveries/re-assembly as needed.
Working with Agiliti bio-med/engineering team to coordinate monthly hydrocollator/cold pack machine cleaning, as well as annual preventative maintenance for rehab equipment.
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in Materials and Central Supply within a hospital, stocking, and data entry.
Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills.
