Starting Salary: 70,000

The Analyst, Internal IT Audit will be a key member of the IT Internal Audit team and will participate in the execution of internal audits. This role is responsible for basic auditing tasks including: developing audit objectives, documenting and evaluating critical controls, and implementing audit tests under the supervision of more experienced auditors.

1. Audit Execution

• Effectively perform and document IT and Digital audit activities in accordance with professional standards and the organization's audit methodology
• Execute testing and create work paper documentation
• Understand procedures, results and business impacts; and document and express such understanding in both written and verbal form
• Perform detail testing as defined by the test program to define, analyze and validate information
• Create clear and accurate documentation and workflows of technology processes and testing results and exceptions

2. Compliance

• Meets administrative reporting requirements and supports department initiatives
• Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct, and a respect for diversity and inclusion
• Contribute to overall Internal Audit Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Meet educational requirements (see education section)
• Have a willingness to relocate if needed
• Willingness and ability to obtain a professional designation such as CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Ability to start position either January 2025 or June 2025
• Must be a current CVS Health Intern

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in IT Audit, Controls Assessment, Control Validation, Risk Assessment, or Risk Consultant role or internship position
• Professional designations such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, CCAK, CDPSE, CPA, CIA, etc., or measured progress in achieving such designations
• Prior experience working in a large corporation and/or in related fields (e.g., Health Insurance, Retail, etc.)

Education

• Anticipated completion of bachelor's degree program by start date (January 2025 through August 2025) or equivalent experience. Master's students completing 3+1 or 4+1 programs (a Master's/MBA program immediately following your bachelor's degree) may be considered
• Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Information Technology, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
