If you're looking to advance your career with a dynamic metal finishing facility, this temp-to-hire role could be perfect for you. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision cylindrical machines, ensuring high-quality workmanship using precision measuring instruments and various machinist hand tools.
Pay: $25-$28 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7 am - 4 pm | Monday-Friday with overtime opportunities
Responsibilities:
Grind metal parts to meet customer specifications and established standards.
Use Tech Sheets, blueprints, and Purchase Orders to ensure accurate dimensions.
Follow the scheduled workflow and communicate any deviations to the department manager.
Strive for increased performance, making necessary adjustments to equipment and setups.
Monitor equipment maintenance with guidance from the Lead Grinder, Machinist, or Sr. Specialist.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with precision grind machines, such as CNC Studer grinders.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tech sheets, and purchase orders.
Proficiency with precision measuring/inspection equipment, including micrometers and height gauges.
Basic math and analytical skills.
