Job Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources plans, organizes, and administers a comprehensive personnel management program for certificated and classified personnel functions, including employment, employee and labor relations, discipline and personnel records; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff and provides guidance on personnel-related legal matters and best practices.
Requirements / Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience and a minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible and successful experience in school administration, preferably in a middle school or high school setting.
- Extensive experience in managing personnel programs and in dealing effectively with people at all levels.
- A master's degree or higher.
- Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certification of Eligibility for Administrative Credential.
A valid California Teaching Credential.
