Our client on Moorpark is looking to add a Warehouse Admin Associate to their warehouse team. In this position, you will play a key role in the timely and accurate processing of shipments. This position requires a candidate with a solid background in utilizing shipping systems, such as UPS and FedEx, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Location: Moorpark, CA Salary: $19.00/hr This is a temp-to-hire position Schedule: Mon-Fri 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
Responsibilities:
Process shipping orders using UPS and FedEx systems.
Prepare shipping labels, documentation, and ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Manage and organize shipping supplies and materials.
Collaborate with carriers to schedule pickups and resolve any shipping-related issues.
Verify and inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role.
Familiarity with shipping systems, especially UPS and FedEx.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external carriers.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
