Expected starting wage range is $76,253.06 - $94,178.24. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field and two (2) years’ experience as an HR Generalist with emphasis in leave or disability management; OR
· Five (5) years’ experience as an HR Generalist with emphasis in leave or disability management and current HR certification such as; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP and or Extensive knowledge of the leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
· Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice
· Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred:
· Completion of specialized certification or training on FMLA/leave administration.
· Prior work experience which entails partnering with a leave management company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders
· Oversees the FMLA leave administration process and the third-party leave administrator to manage the leave process.
· Advises managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, workers’ compensation, and short-term and long-term disability benefits.
· Partners with third party leave administrator to coordinate the return-to-work process and/or ADA “Interactive Process” for employees returning from extended FMLA, workers’ compensation, or other leave(s).
· Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.
· Facilitates other leave requests, which may include accommodation requests under the ADA, union contracts and company specific leave policies.
· Provides guidance on other company time-off programs as assigned in accordance with internal policy and applicable laws.
· Drafts and/or recommends revisions to company leave policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
· Maintains complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices.
· Works closely with the Regional Employee Relations team to identify, research and resolve matters.
· Preserves confidentiality of employee medical documentation and file.
· Produces and manages reporting metrics and analytics for all leave cases. Presents reports as requested.
· Partners closely with Regional HR Business Partners and Employee Relations Specialist on all leave cases and workers’ compensation claims.
· Meets regularly with Regional HR Business Partners to review leaves’ status and develops strategies for resolution.
· Assists in the creation and facilitation of leave administration and workers’ compensation training programs.
· Performs all other duties as assigned or required.
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.
Position requires driving own personal vehicle for company business such as trainings, offsite meetings, etc.
