Summary:
Prospects new individual accounts that are considering enrollment in Individual Solutions, Open Enrollment and Medicare Individual/Group. Facilitates sale and implementation accounts in Individual Sales Department.
Formal Education Required: Associates Degree or may substitute with 2 years of like experience.
Experience & Training Required: One (1) year experience in sales/customer service role.
Required Licenses and/or Certificates:

Ability to travel from location to location throughout the workday.
Essential Functions:
1. Sells and enrolls eligible individuals in Individual Solutions, Open Enrollment, Medicare Individual/Group in SummaCare plans that meet their needs. Emphasizes dimension and advantages of SummaCare products.
2. Meets and maintains goals and targets for sales, established yearly.
3. Performs lead management in timely and efficient manner. Performs administrative duties necessary with lead intake, and follows up to secure sale, including follow up on mailings, cold calls in person and/or on the phone as allowed.
4. Educates community members by making small and large group presentations at various meetings and events.
5. Maintains expert knowledge of all current product benefit plans offerings.
6. Interacts with wide range of population in need of health insurance, including Group Medicare Market and Employers looking to transition to the Individual Market. Develops own lead sources through personal networking, scheduling events, developing referral partners and responds to other leads in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Reviews changing Federal and State regulations & compliance requirements applicable to job performance, and integrates information in sales presentations, as appropriate.
8. Assures continued service to enrollees after initial enrollments, provides feedback into plan implementation; provides information to current enrollees; addresses questions and concerns about plan, to maintain retention standards.
9. Works closely with Customer/Member Services to resolve enrollee problems.
10. Performs all job functions with integrity. Provides timely internal and external customer service in cooperative, professional, and respectful manner.
