As General Manager of Kids and Families, you will be responsible for guiding and enabling Google to build the best ecosystem for kids (users up to the age of 18). You will do this by being the advocate for kids across Google and Android ecosystems, by partnering across the company to build useful, fun, and enriching experiences for kids and teens (e.g., Kids Watch, GenAI, Google Kids Space, Play Teacher-Approved Program) and building the common infrastructure to enable these experiences (e.g. Family Link).
In this role, you will influence across the company to drive a unified point of view on what’s best for kids and teens across Google products. You'll go deep on critical topics such as GenAI for minors, parental controls, and age assurance, navigate a complex regulatory landscape, and build products that appeal to and meet the needs of the next generation of Android and Google ecosystem users.
You will lead Engineering, Product Management, Program Management, and UX teams. You will set the roadmap and priorities for a mission-driven team with deep subject matter expertise, a culture of collaboration, and a sense of fun.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$428,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Drive the cross-company outlook for Kids and Families, including product strategy to enable safe, fun, and enriching experiences and a proactive, responsible approach to Kids that stays ahead of regulatory pressures.
- Develop the product roadmap for the Kids and Families team including devices, supervision, digital well-being, accounts, compliance, content, and Generative AI. Enable decision making and deliver and maintain high-quality products and infrastructure.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers and Researchers, Content and Writing, and Program Managers.
- Influence and collaborate with other Product Areas to deliver great products for kids. Interface with leadership teams across Google product groups to drive a holistic product strategy, regulatory approach, and narrative for Kids and Families.
- Foster a collaborative working environment to achieve goals across Google through influence, creativity, empathy, and presence.
Minimum qualifications:
- 15 years in product management including providing product outlook, strategy development, product planning, prioritization, and landing product launches.
- Experience managing teams and driving a joint roadmap with cross-functional partners.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in strategy or user experience focused roles, with experience building on user insights to develop product strategy.
- Experience driving change across organizational boundaries through deep collaboration, compelling communication and leading through influence.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships with Product Management, Engineering, UX, Global Affairs, and Marketing leaders.
- Ability to lead teams distributed across multiple sites and geographies with strong attention to detail and continuous learning.
- Ability to build, retain, and grow diverse, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams.
