Role Overview
Senior Talent Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs, as well as executing talent management strategies to enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of employees, particularly senior leaders, at the local and regional levels. This role plays a critical part in fostering a culture of continuous learning, talent development, and knowledge transfer within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Training delivery
Collaborate with the Global Program Project Manager to complement global programs with local initiatives based on business needs.
Deliver and facilitate training courses at the regional level, with a focus on senior leaders.
Coaching Senior leaders a leadership skills and team dynamics
Training courses and resources management
Design, develop, and deliver new training courses tailored to the needs of senior leaders and other employee groups for non-manufacturing sites.
Identify and train internal trainers for specific courses
Diversify training methods, including live online training, seminars, webinars, and knowledge sharing.
Oversee the online learning system.
Evaluations and Assessments:
Develop and implement methods for assessing the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and outcomes.
Learning Culture Promotion:
Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and skill development within the organization.
Promote and encourage employee participation in learning and development activities.
Talent Management Execution:
Implement talent management activities to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees and senior leaders.
Collaborate with HR and business leaders to support the execution of succession planning and leadership development programs.
Play a pivotal role in upskilling HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on talent management best practices, enhancing their capabilities in identifying and nurturing talent.
Works hand-in-hand with Global TM head
Corporate culture promotion
Promote the corporate culture and assist the mining industry in creating a healthy and positive corporate atmosphere
Promote the key training and talent development projects and cultural projects through various channels
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above;
More than 10 years experience in L&D role for senior Leaders,
Strong knowledge of Leadership learning and development best practices and adult learning principles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency with learning management systems and e-learning tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Entrepreneurship mindset
Experience in creating and executing learning strategies for Senior leaders.
Strong familiarity with technology and e-learning solutions.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
