What you'll do:
The Senior Credit Analyst will assist the Entertainment and Media Group with underwriting, closing, and managing production loans and cash flow / leveraged loans for film, television, and music, as well as other sectors of the entertainment industry through research, analysis, and coordination of accurate documentation.
The Sr. Credit Analyst is responsible for spreading, managing, and maintaining financial background information on present and prospective customers. The position includes managing spread assignments, completing covenant testing, and maintaining related records and files. The incumbent is also responsible for the preparation of a variety of credit department reports as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Prepares credit analysis for new and existing loans. Reviews client financials and generate cash flow reports using the bank’s official software using Bank’s guidelines.
- Monitors existing loans for covenants (agings/clearing), collateral/borrowing base reviews, cash flows, and financial performance.
- Interface directly with Internal clients (loan officers and assistant relationship officers) to resolve any issues or inquiries regarding the spreads and covenant tests.
- Assists in the opening of deposit accounts and works with the Treasury Management and Specialty Accounts teams to manage all deposit relationships.
- Monitors the team’s opportunity (loans and deposits) pipeline through CRM Sales system.
- Prepare internal credit approval/analysis reports.
- Facilitates reporting and requests on behalf of the Bank with third parties, e.g., field auditors, etc.
What you will need:
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance/accounting is required. Experience in related field is considered.
- 1-2 years’ experience in credit analysis.
- Familiarity with financial statements and ability to analyze business and financial data.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers and software programs, such as Excel and Word.
- Familiar with financial analysis tools such as Moody’s Risk Analyst or Credit Lens and Paul Buker Tax Analysis a plus.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Be a self-starter with good interpersonal skills.
Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $43.00 for Beverly Hills, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
