RN Pediatrics / Community Health Assessments / $53/hr (only 2 visits a day)

Med-Scribe has worked hand in hand with nursing professionals over the last 30 years to find rewarding employment. We are a staffing and recruiting firm serving NYS. These are direct hire positions where you would be employed full-time by our agency.

This position will help you to fulfill your itch for travel, while also giving back to the community through Medicaid evaluations for pediatric, behavioral health patients.

Make a difference in the lives of pediatric patients, up to the age of 21, but assessing their needs using the CANS assessment system provided by New York State. The results of the assessment will be used to connect these patients with a variety of community resources, along with case management services related to their behavioral health issues. Each assessment is a thorough interview with the patient, their family, and any healthcare providers who may be involve in their care. Assessments are completed in the patient's home or via video chat. Work in the field will involve travel to the patient’s location to meet with them in person.

Each RN is assigned a region to cover – we currently have the following openings (you must be willing to travel anywhere in the assigned region):

• St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Lewis
• Rensselaer, Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam
• Rockland and Orange

This is a direct-hire position!

Salary: $53/hr - no mileage is offered

Schedule: Full time - 40 hours weekly. Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday hours. Hours are guaranteed

Minimum Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Home Care or 1 year of UAS experience.
• Experience working with pediatric or mental health populations is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent computer skills.
