The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG’s support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation’s strategic resource objectives. From policy to practice, we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for our Nation’s most pressing security challenges.

We have a near-term need for an Influence, Deception, and Perception Management (IDPM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

The Influence, Deception, and Perception Management (IDPM) Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support the OUSD (I&S) Influence and Perception Management Office (IPMO) in their mission to provide oversight, governance, and integration related to influence and perception management matters for DoD. The candidate will apply advanced technical IDPM knowledge and provide analysis to develop and disseminate strategies and plans to integrate IPMO mission efforts; assist in program oversight activities and policy development; and coordinate staff packages that include time sensitive requirements for IDPM related operations, activities, and investments. The candidate will produce, coordinate, and disseminate reports and briefings that detail DoD IDPM-related policy and program requirements for Congress and Senior Executive Branch Officials.

Qualifications

Required:

Master’s Degree
Minimum 15 years of experience with policy development or policy analysis work within the Department of Defense (relevant fields could include assessments, operational requirements and risk, or operational planning)
Minimum 15 years of experience in an influence, information operations, or deception position within the DoD or Intelligence Community
Active TS clearance with SCI Eligibility

Master's Degree
Experience supporting OUSD (I&S)
