The Manager of Continuing & Professional Education Programs at the LaFetra College of Education (LFCE) is responsible for leading and managing initiatives to provide accessible and high-quality learning opportunities beyond traditional degree programs. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, course production and development, program evaluation, and professional development support.
Minimum Qualifications
At least two years of the following:
Experience in Higher Education.
Developing and delivering educational programs.
Preparing reports and other forms of communication.
Knowledge in computer programs and educational platforms.
Critical thinking skills, logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing support to students, faculty, and staff in a multitasking capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication skills; written/verbal.
Logical and data driven.
Customer centric, collaboration driven with a tech/business mindset.

Supports the Dean and Associate Dean of Partnerships in the development and administration of professional programs.
Serving as the project manager for non-degree and professional engagements; contributing to the activities and deliverables of these projects. This position helps establish, document, and evaluate lifelong learning opportunities.

Serving as primary point of contact for initiatives, facilitating internal and external communication throughout the project or engagement.
Creating detailed work plans for each engagement that identify concrete tasks, deadlines, responsible team members, outcomes, and success markers.

Collaborates with the dean, program chairs, and center directors to make decisions about professional courses, workshops, and programs.

Developing non-degree offerings:
Assist in all aspects of offering design and development. Communicate and collaborate with faculty in planning non-degree offerings, selecting appropriate educational technology, and delivery strategies.
Draft planning documents.
Assist in facilitating faculty offering-creation processes including developing blueprints according to best developmental principles, adapting materials for digital formats, designing modules, developing assessment measures, and coordinating with various faculty or departments to ensure offerings are developed in the delivery platform.
Design resources and experiences for faculty to support design, development, and delivery.

Assist in program evaluation and quality assurance.
Assist in evaluating all aspects of non-degree offerings.
Create and facilitate feedback opportunities such as surveys, focus groups, and evaluations.
Participate in data generation and analysis related to all offerings.
Work as part of CLI team to organize and implement data-driven strategies for ongoing quality assurance and program fidelity.
