Medical Collections Specialist’s Responsibilities

Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid claims.
Send letters of appeal for denied claims.
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.

Medical Collections Specialist’s Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Two (2) years of experience with Medical AR and submitting appeal letters is required.
Profound knowledge of collection techniques and billing procedures is highly recommended.
Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills are required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This position is remote where you can have the opportunity to work from home and avoid heavy traffic on the way to work.
